Clearing the fucking intersection from the left turn lane. How many times have you been sitting second or third in line in the left turn lane and you don't make the light because 1) the drivers in front of you aren't anticipating - or even paying attention to - the light, and/or 2) when they finally move they take their time entering and exiting the intersection.

Yup, very annoying. It's one of my main pet peeves of driving here in Madison, WI. So many people take their own sweet time going slow as fuck and not thinking the people behind them might also want to make it through the light.

Not quite as bad as on-ramp slowpokes though. That's just dangerous.

This! So much this. I don't know what people are doing while they are waiting for the turn light but they need to stop doing it and pay fucking attention. When I'm first in line many times I'll glance in my rearview mirror after going through the intersection to see the car that was behind me lagging way behind.

Somewhat related: making a left turn on yield-green. Around where I am, I think its the single most dangerous maneuver in daily driving because absolutely no one stops for yellows. I've seen people -enter- the intersection nearly 2 seconds after the light has already turned to red. And usually, theres someone on the other side of the intersection who has "claimed" the intersection to make a left turn on yield-green, who now must exit the intersection while the other direction is already green and other cars are already moving.

Or worse, being stuck behind someone who doesnt believe they can safely make the left in the 400 yard gap between cars...

I dunno, I get more pissed at the guy who hits the gas to run the yellow he should have stopped at because I am in the intersection to turn left (so he know cross-traffic is blocked) and had to wait for the yellow because of traffic. That assclown is the reason I end up turning on red as well as the guy behind me who could also fit into the intersection (not that he should have).

If you do try to see them in the car when that happens, more times than not

-on the phone instead of paying attention to the road

-trying to do something else rather than pay attention to the road

There probably some jalops out there doing the same thing. Fix it!

Fuck, I use my horn all the damn time to wake all these morons up. It's amazing how many people look at me in fear or shock that I'd use my horn for anything, including my own passengers.

Mind-boggling how stupid people are on today's roads.
